SRINAGAR- The 2023 Srinagar Premier League action continued on Monday as two Round 4 matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC.
In the first match, JK United FC took on Sports Council Football Academy at 4:30 PM.
JK United scored the first goal through Sandeep, before doubling their lead via Jitender in the 17th minute. Sandeep added the third goal in 22nd minute to end the first half 3-0 in favour of JK United.
Yasir scored the fourth goal for JK United in the 50th minute, before Parvaiz added the fifth in 53rd minute. Yasir struck again in the 63rd minute to make the scoreline 6-0. JK United boys added two more goals to win the match 8-0.
The second game was played at 7:00 PM between FC1 and Lonestar Kashmir FC. The highly anticipated fixture did not disappoint as both teams played competitive football. The first half ended 1-1. The final half of the match proved as exciting as the first as both teams showed their intent to score.
At 2-2, the match was heading towards a draw when FC1 player Shafqat scored the winning goal in the final minute to help FC1 take the game 3-2.
The District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar also announced on Monday that the league matches today, Tuesday, June 27, stand postponed.
