Srinagar- A youth was attacked and injured on Friday by a black bear in Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
27-year old Rayees Ahmad Sheikh of Chundusa village of Baramulla was attacked by a black bear on Friday evening near Youth Hostel Sonamarg, leaving him seriously wounded, reports said.
The injured youth was immediately removed to the Primary health centre (PHC) Sonamarg for treatment. However, the doctors there referred him to SK institute of medical sciences (SKIMS) Soura for advanced treatment.
