Srinagar- The wildlife department officials on Monday captured a leopard from the border town of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A leopard was spotted roaming by the villagers of Bijhama in Uri early Monday morning following which they made an SOS call to the wildlife department officials, reports said.
Acting swiftly, a team of wildlife officials reached the village and captured the beast after laying multiple traps.
The leopard, reports said, was set free far away from local habitation.
