SRINAGAR- The 2023 Srinagar Premier League has entered Round 3, with the first game taking place on Friday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
The match was played between ARCO FC and Novelty FC. The 7:00 PM kick off meant that the contest took placed under the floodlights. The match was evenly contested between the two teams, with the half time score reading 1-1. However, ARCO kicked into gear late in the second half to rally to a 3-2 win.
The championship is organised by District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar in collaboration with J&K Football Association (JKFA) and J&K Sports Council.
The JKFA on Friday appreciated DFA Srinagar management for organising the first two rounds of the league.
“We would also like to commend Mr. Ahmad Ajaz and his team for his exceptional organizational skills and dedication in successfully organizing this prestigious event,” the association said.
