Srinagar- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), National General Secretary, and In Charge Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chug, on Wednesday said the elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held soon and that J&K will no longer operate based on the agenda of separatism as it follows the agenda of faith and development set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chug further mentioned that the commission is diligently carrying out its responsibilities and will soon announce elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media persons, Chug raised the question of who is engaging in boycott politics in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the existence of democracy in the country and highlighted the people of Jammu and Kashmir’s belief in democracy.
Chug further stated, “Abdullah, Mufti, and Gandhi families have undermined democracy in Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in a loss of faith in the democratic process among the people.”
“He also pointed out that since the revocation of Article 370, DDC Elections, BDC Elections, and Panchayat elections have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding that thousands of delegates have been elected, including 280 DDCs.
