Srinagar- A man was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Monday, days after a middle aged man was stabbed to death by a youth in the same locality.
Reports reaching here said that during the night a man identified as Danish Mushtaq (27), resident of Tengpora Batamaloo was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law in Tengpora Batamaloo.
They said that Danish has received a left thigh injury and has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
Pertinent to mention that police arrested a juvenile in connection with murder of a middle aged man at Mominabad Batamaloo a few days ago.
Accused juvenile, police said stabbed the victim multiple times, leaving him critically injured. The injured man was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
