BANDIPORA- The Department of Youth Services & Sports organised an exhilarating trekking expedition in the picturesque Gurez Valley of Bandipora district.
The trekking expedition, coordinated by the Zonal Physical Education Office Gurez, aimed to provide an enriching experience for the students of HS Chorwan. Under the supervision of dedicated officials of Youth Services & Sports, the students eagerly embarked on this adventure, ready to explore the stunning landscapes and delve into the natural beauty of the Habba Khatun Mountains.
A total of 60 students, both boys, and girls, participated in the trekking expedition, which proved to be a memorable and transformative journey for all.
Joint Director Kashmir of the Youth Services and Sports Department Waseem Raja while conveying his appreciation to DYSSO Bandipora and ZPEO Gurez for arranging this activity in an impressive and unique way has said that the best part of the trekking expedition was students’ vibrant display of the local Shina cultural program.
