Srinagar- A middle-aged man was attacked and injured on Friday by a black bear in Drugmulla area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
50-year-old Tufail Ahmad Chechi was grazing his cattle near Marbal colony in Drugmulla on Friday morning when a bear appeared there and attacked him, reports said. A resident of Rajouri Chechi was removed by the locals to sub-district hospital (SDH) Kupwara for treatment.
His condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, a wildlife department team has rushed its team to the spot to catch the beast.
