Anantnag- Gujjar Bakerwal Boys Hostel Anantnag organised educational awareness program for the students of the hostel in which senior educationist, Chief Education Officer Srinagar Mohammad Shabir Khatana interacted with the students as chief guest to share the methods and steps for achieving excellence in education.
In his address he highlighted the importance of education, difficulties of tribal students in learning and understanding especially in mathematics and also shared solutions for such issues.
On the advice of the chief guest, a committee of 12 students was constituted in the first phase with the help of some experts to train these students especially in mathematics to compete with students at local & national level.
In his welcome address warden of hostel Rafaqat Ali Kasana highlighted the achievements of hostel in academic field and various initiative taken by hostel administration and department of tribal affairs for all round development of hostel students.
Beside some parents warden G&B boys Hostel Srinagar Naseem Ahmed Bajad was also present on the occasion. Earlier students of hostel Mohammad Asif Gagi and Talib Ahmad recited the Aayaat of Holy Quran & presented Naat respectively on the occasion.
