Says Saffron Party Will Form Next Government In UT
By Majid Nabi
Srinagar- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh, said on Monday that the assembly elections in the Union Territory will be held soon and that the saffron party with the blessings and support of the people will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Chugh, who is also party in-charge for Kashmir affairs, urged the people to have patience as the assembly election in the Union Territory will be conducted at the earliest. He said a feeling of hatred has grown among the people of J & K for three families including Muftis, Abdullah’s, Nehru’s and Gandhi’s, who he alleged have exploited them for seventy years.
Chugh alleged that in addition to plundering J&K for 70 years, these families have offered stones, bombs, and AK-47s to the J&K youth as alternatives to pens and computers.
“I appeal and request people of J&K to have faith in Prime Minister Modi whose sole aim is to end poverty, while others aim is to end peace,” said Chugh, while talking to reporters after chairing office bearers meeting here.
He said people of J&K have outrightly rejected these parties and reposed their full faith and conviction in BJP, which he said under the leadership of PM Modi was able to restore sustainable peace in J&K.
Citing District Development Elections as proof that BJP has succeeded in winning hearts of the people of J&K, Chugh said five lakh people voted against the Gupkar Alliance during DDC polls, clearly showing their love for the saffron party.
“Gone are the days, when they used to mislead J&K people. These families have exploited people of J&K for seventy years. They constructed palaces in foreign countries and other states of India, while people of J&K remained the poorest of the poor. Their dining tables were full of Biryani and other feats and people of J&K remained hungry. They now want a change,” he added.
He said a large population from across J&K listened to the Prime Minister’s 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat and in which the PM repeatedly spoke about J&K.
