Srinagar- A daily wager in the state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) died on Saturday after receiving an electric shock in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
48-year-old Mushtaq Ahmad Mir was critically injured after receiving an electric shock while on duty at the BSNL exchange Pattan on Saturday afternoon, reports said. Mir was removed to the sub-district hospital (SDH) Pattan by his colleagues for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him dead.
After completion of legal and medico formalities, the body was handed over to his family for last rites, reports said.
