SRINAGAR- Downtown Heroes FC registered their first win of the 2nd Division League (I-League 2) on Monday by pipping Himachal Pradesh-based football club Techtro Swades FC 1-0 at Synthetic Turf TRC here.

“Despite not a good start to the tournament, our coaching staff, especially the head coach Hilal Rasool Parray and Ajaz Ahmad, backed the team and kept them motivated,” Downtown Heroes founder Mushtaq Bashir said in a statement.
“This win has boosted team’s morale and we’re hopeful of good performance in the upcoming matches as well,” he added.
