SRINAGAR- Real Kashmir FC will take on Sreenidi Deccan FC at the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad today, Sunday, March 5, in what will be their last match of the 2022-23 I-League campaign. The match is slated for a 3:00 PM kick off.
Real Kashmir face a tough opponent in Sreenidi Deccan as the home team boasts as unbeaten run at the Deccan Arena, winning eight and drawing one. However, the Snow Leopards had overcome their Sunday’s opponents 2-1 in Srinagar earlier in the season, and the team would hope to upset the second-placed team.
RKFC is also coming into the match with a five-game unbeaten run and have shown considerable improvement since appointing Englishman Gifton Noel-Williams as their Technical Director in January.
While RoundGlass Punjab FC have already secured the I-League title as well as a promotion to Indian Super League this season, the clash between Real Kashmir and Sreenidi isn’t all-together inconsequential for the Srinagar side.
The Snow Leopards have accumulated 30 points from 20 matches and a win on Sunday could cement them a top-five finish in the 2022-23 I-League season.
