SRINAGAR- A first of its kind snooker club, Infinity Club and Café, was thrown open to the public in an inauguration ceremony on Thursday.
The ceremony saw Tanvir Sadiq, Chief Spokesperson National Conference, inaugurate the Infinity Club and Café in presence of a host of dignitaries, including prominent Radio Jockeys, social activists and prominent citizens.
Located at the Mill Stop area of Nowshera, the club remains open round the clock and offers unparalleled service to its customers. Matching all the international standards, the club is equipped with three snooker tables manufactured by international brands. It also has a foosball, carrom board, ludo and other games to keep the players engaged in case all the snooker tables are booked. Besides it, the club also offers massage service to the visitors on nominal charges.
As for the café, Infinity offers a range of hot and cold beverages, including a variety of mocktails. A range of mouthwatering fresh pizzas by Infinity is another attraction at the club.
“The infinity club and café aims to serve its customers round the clock. We want to offer unblocked, unhindered access to our customers according to their choice and taste,” Abrar Ali, the founder said.
“In winters when everything comes to a freeze, Infinity should serve as a warm and cozy place for our youngsters. We don’t want snow to bury their sporting spirit,” he added.
The club has also reserved a space for majlis sitting for more relaxing experience to enjoy the overall atmosphere of the club.
The sports lovers too have welcomed Abrar’s new venture and termed it a comfy-zone for the youth.
“The youth of Kashmir are stressed due to multiple reasons. And indoor spaces like snooker clubs serve as a meeting ground for youth to listen to each-other, share ideas of life,” Mir Mohsin, a sports lover said.
“I have gone to dozens of snooker clubs in Srinagar but Infinity is altogether different. The interiors of the club, the ambience are just amazing,” he added.
