Srinagar- A teenager boy on Friday allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
A 16-year-old boy (name withheld) hanged himself to death at his residence in Sangrampora village of Sopore town on Friday evening, they said. The boy was rushed to the sub-district hospital (SDH) Sopore for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him dead.
Meanwhile, a police official told a local news agency KNO that they have taken the cognizance of the incident and started further investigations into the matter.
