1700 athletes to participate in the event
GULMARG- Chief Executive Officer, Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA), Ghulam Jeelani Zargar and Sub Divisional Magistrate Gulmarg Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi chaired a meeting of concerned officers on Monday to take stock of various arrangements for holding the 3rd edition of Khelo India Winter Games at Gulmarg.
CEO GDA took a comprehensive review of various aspects pertaining to the event wherein he directed various authorities for adopting a coordinated approach for making the event a grand success.
He emphasized making all necessary arrangements including health necessities, accommodation, lodging and other facilities, well in advance and in a hassle free manner.
The meeting held a threadbare discussion on the facilities, accommodation, parkings, heath facilities, transportation and other logistic arrangements for the upcoming event.
About 1700 athletes and 350 VIPs and VVIPs are scheduled to attend the event at Gulmarg in February.
All the sub divisional level officers were present in the meeting. (KNS)
