Jammu- Associate professor and Head of Department, Orthopaedics, Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, Dr. Shalinder Sharma died from a massive heart attack, officials said on Wednesday.
Quoting Dr Mehmood Choudhary, Superintendent GMC Rajouri, news agency GNS reported that Dr Sharma had a massive heart attack at his residence and he was brought to GMC during predawn. However, he said, despite best efforts by a team of doctors, Dr Sharma could not be revived and passed away.
Meanwhile, an assistant executive engineer of the Power Development Department (PDD) also died of a heart attack.
AEE Mohammad Ayoub of Bon Dailgam area of Anantnag died when he was on his way to attend to his duty in Yaripora, reports said. Ayoub was posted as AEE at sub-division Yaripora in Kulgam district.
