Snow Leopards score in 90+5th minute to equalise
SRINAGAR- Real Kashmir FC on Thursday fell to 1-1 draw against a winless Sudeva Delhi FC in I-League at Chhatrasal Stadium, New Delhi.
This was Sudeva’s second point in the competition and the team will certainly be ruing their luck after conceding the equalising goal in the 90+5 minute of a hard-fought match, which saw a total of six yellows being dished out by the referee.
Seilenthang Lotjem gave the Delhi side the lead in the 53rd minute. But the Snow Leopards’ Meghalayan midfielder Samuel Kynshi scored deep in extra time to save his team the blushes. Kynshi came on as a substitute in the 78th minute, and RKFC head coach Mehrajudin Wadoo would be grateful he made the change against his former team.
The draw takes Real Kashmir up to third in the 2022-23 season of I-League, at least for the time being. The Srinagar-based team is on 18 points from 11 matches and are four points behind he current league leaders Sreenidi Deccan FC, who are on 22 from 11.
Real Kashmir will next play Gokulam Kerala on Friday, January 20.
