Srinagar- At least two residential houses were damaged in a blaze in Old Town area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla on Saturday, officials said.
News agency GNS reported that a fire broke out at Jalal Sahab area in Old Town during which a two residential house, a double and single storey, got damaged.
Confirming the incident, an F&ES official said that soon after information fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control.
Cause of fire was not however immediately known.
Meanwhile, a hotel was damaged in a fire incident in Kullan village of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that fire broke out in Himalaya Resort in Kullan village today morning.
He said soon after the incident fire tenders reached to the spot and doused off the flames, however, the hotel suffered partial damage.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and cause fire was being ascertained.
