Pattan- The grandfather of well-known socio-political activist Hamid Rather died on Friday, however funeral rites and Namaz-e-Janaza were performed on Saturday at their ancestral village Buran Pattan.
Haji Mohammad Ramzan Rather, grandpa of Hamid Rather, was one of the oldest man in Pattan town. The family confirmed that he was more than 100 years old.
Late Haji Sahab was known for his kindness and compassion. He lived a respectable, religious and a highly contended life.
Mohammad Ramzan has served in Indian Army for some time.
Family confirmed that rasm-e-chahrum will be observed on Monday (2nd January 2023) at their ancestral home in Buran Pattan.
