Plans to raise issue of departmental teams
SRINAGAR- The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) on Wednesday invited all top-flight clubs of the Valley to meet Chief Secretary J&K Arun Mehta to discuss various grievances.
The CS’ presence has been organised by Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gul, who will also be part of the grand scale meeting today, December 15, at 4:00 PM at Synthetic Turf TRC.
“This is to inform all the management and players of Premier Division, Super Division and A Division clubs that they are informed to report tomorrow that is Thursday 15th of December at 4:00 PM at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground. Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gul has invited Chief Secretary of J&K UT Arun Kumar Mehta to the meeting to address several grievances,” the JKFA said in a statement.
“The meeting is regarding the development of football and other important factors. Chairman JKFA Wasim Aslam has also been long advocating revival of departmental teams. Many key issues and obstacles pertaining to football especially of departmental teams like J&K Forest, J&K RTC, Food & Supplies, etc., will be discussed, the statement concluded.
