Srinagar- Police on Saturday said that it has arrested a youth from Anantnag, who was seen thrashing a school girl in a viral video which was widely shared on social media.
In a statement, the police said that a video was viral on social Media in which a Young boy was seen thrashing a Girl.
Accordingly Ananthnag Police has taken cognizance of the incident and has registered FIR 351/2022 Under relevant sections of Law in Police Station Ananthnag.
The police spokesman further stated that a team of Police Officials from Police Post Bus stand swung into Action and eventually the Boy was identified and subsequently arrested.
General Public is requested not to share the video further on social Media, reads the statement.
