SRINAGAR- The 2nd round of Annual A-Division Football League 2022 began on Thursday at Polo Ground (West).
The first match of the day was played between Muslimeen United and Real Cosmos. Both teams played aggressive football and tried enough to score. However, it was Muslimeen United who won by solitary goal through Shahid Reshi.
The second match was played between Alamdar FC and Ali Jana (B). Both teams attacked each other and after some time Alamdar FC dominated the game and held the ball in their control and scored the first goal in the 7th minute through Suhail. The team got its second goal through Kaiser Iqbal in the 21st minute.
Ali Jana reduced the deficit in 23rd minute and the score read 2-1 at the end of the first half.
The second half saw both teams play classic football, with Ali Jana trying to equalise and Alamdar looking to maintain their lead. Eventually, the match ended in favour of Alamdar FC as they won the match 2-1.
According to the fixtures list, the next round of matches will be played on November 5. Spartans FC will play Alamdar FC at 2 pm, while Al-Hilal FC will take on Muslimeen United at 3 pm. Both matches will be played at Polo Ground.
The A-Division League is organised by DFA Srinagar.
