Srinagar- The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on Thursday directed the officials to make adequate supply of essentials available during the winter season across the Union Territory.
Sinha told the officials that people should not face any problems during the winter and this should be taken care of by everyone.
He made these comments while chairing the district development review meeting in Pulwama district on Thursday. He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several infrastructure projects in the district.
The LG asked the official that there should be adequate power and water supply during the winter and if there is snow on the roads it should be cleared immediately.
He stressed upon the officials that the people should not face any difficulty during the winter in any case, be it power, water supply and other essential services.
Sinha also asked the officials of the department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs department to make adequate ration available for the people.
