Srinagar– The Chief Engineer (Distribution) Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation has informed that there will be a power shutdown on 20th October of some 33 KV lines in order to facilitate works at Receiving Station Rainawari.
The power supply on 33 KV line Wanganpora-BAMK-Kathi Darwaza, Receiving Station Kathi Darwaza shall remain affected on 20th October from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. The load to remain off is 21.04 MW.
Likewise, the power supply on 33 KV line Wanganpora-Rainawari, Receiving stations Rainawari and Khanyar shall remain affected on 20th October from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The load to remain off is 26 MW.
The decision has been taken in view of the request by the Superintending Engineer O&M KPDCL Circle 1st for the shutdown of 33KV lines in order to facilitate the works at the Receiving Station Rainawari.
In reference to the request by SE, The Chief Engineer states “It is hereby intimated that the said shutdown as per the proposed schedule is hereby approved for further necessary action at your end.”
