Srinagar- A man died on Wednesday after receiving an electric shock inside his house in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Abdul Majeed Wagay was taking shower inside his house in the Brah Ranipora area of Shangus on Wednesday morning when he came in contact with a live wire and got electrocuted, reports said. Wagay was taken in an unconscious state to a nearby health facility for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard and started further investigation.
