SRINAGAR- The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) on Wednesday issued a press release stating that it would organise Thapar Memorial Cup match on Thursday, September 29 at Synthetic Turf TRC.
“JCT Limited (Punjab) in collaboration with J&K Football Association and J&K Sports Council has organised Manmohan Thapar Memorial Cup football match between two top teams of Srinagar, i.e., Downtown Hero’s FC and Syed Taj-u-Din FC at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar on Thursday the 29th Sept. 2022 at 4 PM,” the FA’s press release said.
“JKFA invites the fraternity of footballers /clubs/ lovers of the game to witness the match at the venue which will give a boost to the morale of our young footballers.
“JKFA will involve business houses as sponsors for conducting UT Level/National Level football competition in J&K which will help in development of the game across the region and later will help in providing job opportunities to our budding footballers and to showcase their talent,” the press release concluded.
