Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir registered eight fresh cases of novel Coronavirus on Monday; the lowest numbers in recent months, even as no fresh fatality was reported across the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, Srinagar in the Valley reported seven new cases of Coronavirus while a single case was detected from Reasi district in the Jammu division, taking the total number of people infected since the onset of pandemic in J&K to 479084.
Also, the officials said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4785—2352 in Jammu division and 2433 in the Valley, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
“Moreover, 23 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 04 from Jammu division and 19 from Kashmir division,” they added.
