Srinagar- Director School Education Kashmir on Monday suspended three officials of the education department in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district following a complaint against them.
“In pursuance to the administrative department’s instructions vide above reference, the three officials of the chief education officer Anantnag are hereby suspended with immediate effect and attached to the office of joint director education south Kashmir forthwith,” reads an order issued by the Director School Education Department, Kashmir
It further reads that Mohammad Jahangir Khanday (KAS) Joint Director, Education (south) is nominated as enquiry officer to conduct the in-depth enquiry in the matter.
“He shall submit an enquiry report to this directorate alongwith his recommendations into the matter within 15 days positively,” the order adds.
Those who have been suspended included Ajaz Ahmad Malla (selection officer), Abid Hussain (Jr. Assistant) both are posted at CO office Anantnag and Ashiq Hussain Sheikh(Teacher) posted at Qazigund.
