Uri- The rescue teams of police and locals recovered the body of a minor girl, who was picked up by a wild animal from the courtyard of her house in Uri area of Baramulla district, reports said Saturday.
The body of six-year-old Munizah, daughter of Imran Ahmad Beigh was recovered in a forest area in Gawashar, hours after she was mauled and whisked away by a leopard from the courtyard of her house in Jabadar village on Friday evening, reports said Saturday.
Shortly after the beast attack, the girl’s family along with other villagers and police had launched a rescue to trace her. However, hours later, her body was recovered, plunging the village into mourning.
