Srinagar- A man died on Tuesday after falling off a walnut tree in the Kralgund area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
35-year-old Bilal Ahmed Khan, a resident of Hajin Kralgund had climbed on top of the tree, and was busy thrashing the walnuts barefoot when he slipped and fell down and sustained critical injuries, reports said. The injured man was removed to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him dead.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
