Srinagar- At least five persons were injured after two vehicles collided along at Awatkul, Natnussa in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district Wednesday morning.
Reports said that an ‘Alto 800’ bearing registration number JK09A 2951 and ‘Espresso’ car bearing registration number JK09A 6170 collided, resulting in injuries to five persons, according to news agency GNS.
The injured persons have been identified as; Mushtaq Ahmad Ahangar (40) son of Abdul Aziz Ahanger his wife Saleema Begum and daughter Madiha Jan, residents of Hirri Kupwara and Nawaz Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Hassan Shah of Tanghdar and Faroz Ahmad.
The injured were removed for treatment to a nearby hospital, from where one, Saleema Begum, was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for preferential treatment.
Confirming the incident, a police official said that they have taken cognizance of the incident.
