Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir reported on Monday 383 fresh cases of novel Coronavirus, even as no fatality was reported during the last 24 hours in the Union Territory.
Kashmir Valley reported 237 new cases of Covid-19, while 146 others were detected from Jammu division on Monday thus taking the total number of people infected since the onset of pandemic in J&K to 460558, officials said.
In the Valley, officials said, Srinagar reported the highest 105 new cases of virus, Baramulla 60, Anantnag 25, Pulwama 13, Budgam 10, Kupwara 9, Kulgam 7, Bandipora 6, Shopian 2.
In the winter capital, they said, Jammu reported a maximum of 98 new cases, Rajouri 19, Udhampur 17, Kathua 6, Kishtwar 3, Samba 2 and Doda 1.
Also, the officials said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4763 in J&K—2337 in Jammu and 2426 in Kashmir, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
“Moreover, 243 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 157 from Jammu division and 86 from Kashmir division,” they added.
