Srinagar- Syed Mohammad Rizvi, former Joint Director Horticulture (planning and marketing) passed away at his Baghwanpora residence on Monday.
He passed away following prolonged illness, family sources said.
He also served as General Manager Kashmir Observer.
Staffers at Kashmir Observer recalled his contribution to the organisation and paid rich tributes to the departed soul.
He was also associated with various trusts and institutions working for public welfare.
His demise is being widely mourned with people recalling his contribution to the education sector in the Kashmir Valley.
