Srinagar- The demise of Rahat Begum, grandmother of Acumen Fellow and Chairman Jammu & Kashmir RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat has been widely condoled. She was 91 and breathed her last on 21st June, 2022.
People from different walks of life visited their residence at Wathoora and expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family.
Speakers praised her as an extra ordinary woman who had extraordinary love for education.
“Despite being married at a very young age, she made sure her husband continued formal education even after marriage”.
“She raised ten children and made sure everyone among them got proper education” speakers said.
They also prayed for the departed soul and expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family.
