Srinagar- Chief Education Officer Kupwara Thursday put under suspension ten teachers for “negligence towards their legitimate duties”.
“As reported by Zonal Education Officer Kralpora, ten teaching officials have failed to report their actual place of postings till date despite various reminders time and again given to them by the Zonal Education Officer concerned”, reads an order.
“Now in view of the non-compliance of orders, non-seriousness and sheer negligence shown by them towards their legitimate duties and as recommended by Zonal Education Officer concerned, the teaching officials are placed under suspension with immediate elect and are attached to their actual place of postings,” the order reads.
The suspended teachers, as per the order are i) Shameema Bano (RReT), Bibi Mehoona (TG-II), Koser Parveen (TG-II), Tasleema Akhter (TG-III), Mohd Iqbal Shah (RReT), Ayjaz Ahmad Mir (3rd RReT), Sajad Ahmad Wani (TG-II), Haleema Bano (TG-III), Asif Ali (TG-II) and Mohd Yousuf Wani (TG-II).
