Srinagar- The authorities in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday rubbished reports of mass resignation by Kashmiri Pandit employees over the killing of a community member by unidentified militants in the district on Thursday.
“The social media reports of resignations by Migrant employees are denied as no such letter of resignation(s) have been recieved by the administration. Service related issues are being addressed in a time bound manner in a weeks time,” Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza posted on his official Twitter handle.
Mirza’s post came hours after a purported letter made rounds on social media claiming enmass resignation of all Kashmiri Pandit employees recruited under the Prime Minister’s special employment package.
