Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir registered seven fresh cases of novel Coronavirus on Wednesday while no fatality due to virus was reported in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, a single new case of Covid-19 was detected in Kupwara district in the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday while six others were reported from the Jammu division, taking the number of people infected since the onset of the pandemic in J&K to 454125.
During the same time, the officials said, eight more people, six in the Valley and two others from Jammu recovered from the deadly infection.
The officials further said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4751 in J&K—2328 in Jammu and 2423 in Kashmir Valley, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
