Srinagar- Four residential houses were damaged in a massive blaze in Brane Nishat area in the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday.
They said the fire emanated from one residential house at around 5:30 p.m. and engulfed at least three other houses in the vicinity.
An official of the fire and emergency department here said that fire tenders from five stations were rushed to the area to douse off the flames in the congested locality. While reports said that one person has suffered injuries, official confirmation was awaited.
The Immediate cause of the fire was not known even as one structure suffered substantial damage while the attic portion of three others was damaged. Police said that a case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
