Srinagar- A youth was found dead on Friday inside an apple orchard in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
21-year-old Umar Farooq Shosha was found lifeless by some locals inside an orchard in New Colony, Sopore on Friday morning, reports said. The locals informed the police after discovering the youth lying dead.
A police team rushed to the area and took the body in its possession.
The youth had gone missing on Thursday night, reports said.
A police officer told a local news agency GNS that a case has been registered and that investigations have been launched. The investigations, he said, also encompasses the possibility of death due to drug overdose.
“Postmortem has been conducted and further investigations are underway,” the officer said.
