Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir registered on Monday 19 fresh cases of novel Coronavirus while no fatality was reported from the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, Jammu division reported just two new cases of Covid-19 while the remaining 17 were detected in many districts across the Kashmir Valley.
In the Valley, officials said, Srinagar reported the highest 10 new cases of virus,
Baramulla and Budgam 2 each and one new case each in Kupwara, Kulgam and Shopian. No new cases of the virus were reported from Anantnag, Pulwama, Bandipora and Ganderbal.
In the winter capital, officials said that two cases were reported from Jammu while the remaining nine districts of Udhampur, Rajouri, Kathua, Kishtwar, Poonch, Samba, Doda, Reasi and Ramban reported no fresh cases of Covid-19.
Moreover, 7 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 2 from Jammu Division and 5 from Kashmir Division,” the officials said.
Also, they said that the death toll due to the pandemic remained unchanged at 4750 in J&K, as no fresh fatality was reported.
