Jammu- The Union Territory Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Northern Command, Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi on Friday discussed the security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir
Dwivedi, according to an official spokesperson called on LG at Raj Bhavan and briefed him about the security situation in the forward areas and hinterland of J&K, an official spokesperson said.
During the meeting, he said, thee LG and Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi discussed matters regarding security scenario and the overall security management in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Lt Governor commended the important role of the Army in maintaining peace, harmony and ensuring a secure environment for the people in J&K, which is witnessing rapid development and growth,” the spokesperson said.
He said that Lt General ADS Aujla also remained present.
