Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir reported on Friday 11 fresh cases of novel Coronavirus while no fatality was reported across the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, Kashmir Valley reported nine new cases of Covid-19 while the remaining two were detected in the Jammu division.
In the Valley, officials said, Anantnag reported 5, Srinagar 3 and Baramulla one new case of virus on Friday. However, no new cases of infection were detected in the remaining seven districts of Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian.
In the winter capital, officials said, one new case each was registered in Jammu and Udhampur, while the remaining eight districts of Rajouri, Doda, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar,Poonch, Ramban and Reasi detected no new cases of virus.
Also, the officials said that the death toll due to the pandemic remained 4750 in J&K as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
The officials further said that ten Covid-19 patients—six from Jammu and four from Valley— recovered during the time.
