Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir registered on Tuesday seven fresh cases of novel Coronavirus even as no fatality was reported from the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, Kashmir Valley detected five new cases of Covid-19 while two others were reported from Jammu division.
In the Valley, Srinagar registered four new cases of virus and Baramulla one, officials said. The remaining eight districts of the Valley, including Budgam, Anantnag, Kupwara, Pulwama, Bandipora Kulgam, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases of Covid-19.
In the winter capital, officials said, Jammu reported two new cases of Coronavirus while no new cases were detected in the remaining nine districts of Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Ramban, Poonch, Kathua, Reasi, Samba and Udhampur.
“Moreover, 19 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 13 from Jammu Division and 06 from Kashmir Division,” they added.
Also, the officials said that the death toll due to pandemic remained unchanged at 4750 in J&K- 2327 in Jammu division and 2423 in the Valley as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
