Srinagar- The Emergency Operation Theatre at Bones and Joints Hospital has been made operational. A massive fire broke out at the hospital on 4th March.
The fire had caused massive damage to the Hospital and the patients was ferried to other hospitals for treatment. The Out Patient Department services were started for patients from 7th March.
Medical Superintendent Bones and Joints Hospital Mian Suhail told Kashmir Observer that the restoration of the Emergency Operation Theatre has been a collective effort and it has been made operational with the help of other Departments and officials from the administration.
“It has not been one man’s job. It has been a collective effort”, he said.
“The Emergency Operation Theatre has been made function from Monday and it is functional 24×7” he added.
However, he clarified the main Operation Theatre was not damaged during the fire incident.
