Winners qualify for Final Phase of the championship
SRINAGAR- Two First Phase matches of the ongoing 29th Annual Football Championship were played on Monday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
In the first match, DFA Anantnag locked horns with DFA Ganderbal. Both teams played good football and at full time whistle the match ended in a goalless draw. The winner was decided by enforcing a tiebreaker rule in which DFA Anantnag defeated DFA Ganderbal by 4 goals to 1.
In the second match, DFA Srinagar and DFA Budgam went face to face against each other. In the beginning minutes of the game, Srinagar dominated for some time and scored a beautiful goal through Ayaan.
