Srinagar- The aspirants for the posts of Prosecuting Officers (PO) smell foul in the ongoing emanation process and urged the authorities to probe the matter.
A number of aspirants told Kashmir Observer that their mains examination papers are copied from a prominent website of law — Lawfinderlive.com.
The exams are being conducted by the Public service Commission (PSC).
The aspirants allege that the PSC is putting the future of aspirants at thousands on stake by copying questions from the website.
In 2021, the Commission advertised seventy positions for the posts of Prosecuting officers. The prelims for the said exam was held in August 2021.The main examination is currently going on.
An aspirant told Kashmir Observer that in “IPC” and “CRPC” papers , questions could be easily tallied from the prominent law website.
“If someone will go through the website he will easily find the questions have been copied, this is unfair” said one of the aspirants.
Another candidate told Kashmir Observer that some students were aware of the paper and urged the PSC to probe the matter.
Despite repeated attempts Chairman Public service Commission B R Sharma didn’t receive the calls to know their version.
