Srinagar- As many as 381 Coronavirus patients recovered in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday while 137 confirmed cases of infection were reported in the Union Territory during the last 24hours.
According to the officials, 381 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 257 from Jammu division and 124 from Kashmir Valley.
During the same time, officials said, 137 people tested positive for virus— 100 in Jammu and the remaining 37 in the Valley, taking the number of people infected since the onset of pandemic to 452547.
In the Valley, officials said, Srinagar registered the highest 22 fresh cases of Coronavirus, Budgam 7, three each in Baramulla and Bandipora and one case each in Anantnag and Kulgam. The four districts of Pulwama, Kupwara, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no new cases of Covid-19.
In the winter capital, officials said, Jammu division detected a maximum of 30 new cases of virus, Doda 25,Udhampur 22, Ramban 8, Kathua 6, Rajouri and Poonch 3each, Samba 2 and Reasi 1. Kishtwar was the only district in the region where no fresh cases of infection were reported.
Also, the officials said that the death toll in the pandemic remained 4747 in J&K as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
