Ganderbal- A CRPF personnel on Sunday shoot himself dead with his service rifle in Gund area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official said that the CRPF trooper namely Deonath Yadav, a resident of Mirzapur UP of 118th Bn CRPF shot himself while he was on duty at CRPF camp Gund today morning.
The body of deceased CRPF trooper has been shifted to hospital for legal formalities, the official said.
He said the proceedings have been launched into the incident.
It was not immediately known what made the constable take the extreme step
