Srinagar: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police died on duty after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Manda area of Jammu district on Thursday, officials said.
As per reports he has been identified as Queem Ali, (32) son of Qasim Din, a resident of Rangora, Majeen, posted at Police Station Pacca Danga.
He was on duty when he was hit by an unknown vehicle near Manda check post, police officials said.
He said that the constable died on the spot. Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard.
